Participation in the path of the soul is a powerful expression of one’s willingness to both dwell in and be of assistance to the world in which they live. An error often made is the belief that the path of the soul must be some profound journey or have some noticeable universal impact upon humankind. Yes, there are those, like the face of the clock, whose actions are visible to many; yet, if it was not for all the intricate, minute parts that perform their task hidden beneath the surface what you can see of the clock would be useless.

Therefore, whatever you are called to do, do it well. Whatever tasks you are asked to perform, do so knowing that they contribute to the greater good of all. Be willing to be the hidden piece behind the scenes that makes all things possible. To deny each moment, disregard each act eliminates the possibility and the potential of moving your world into the consciousness of God.

The simplest of acts may be the most profound. The lowliest of tasks may be the most important. Be the silent, secret servant to the greater consciousness of good, and you will participate in and outwardly express the consciousness of God in physical form.

Your brother, Jesus, spoke that if you have but the faith of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “cast yourself into the sea,” and it shall be so. It is just as significant, just as profound and just as important to humanity if that event occurs by the mountain leaping into the sea, by gathering a community of people to carry it away, or if you take the lowly teaspoon, and spoonful by spoonful move it to the sea.

Hold the highest good, seek the greatest result; yet, in that process, do not deny the value or the importance of the lowliest of tasks. For even the greatest mountain is made out of grains of sand. The awakening of humanity occurs moment by moment with each task done in love. You are called to be great in the simplest of matters, and the lowliest of actions are the foundation upon which the new world is built.

Celebrate the simplicity of your life and the profoundness of the result. With intention, never question, with purpose never doubt the power of your soul in physical form.

Remember the light of the soul is like a projector that shines through the celluloid of your thoughts and projects onto the screen of your reality. It cannot be otherwise. It never has been otherwise.

The same source that feeds your soul, feeds your body; it is the same source that provides money in your bank account. If you feel denied, how are you denying yourself? If you feel unappreciated, how do you not appreciate yourself? If you feel rejected, how is it that you reject yourself?

Your reality is in complete service to your thoughts and has no power over them. Your reality can inspire, instruct or be a catalyst to move you to a higher state of consciousness which can give the illusion that some outside force is at work within you. Rather it is the light of your soul that carries the images of your thoughts onto the screen of your reality that is seeking to transform your life.

Even your challenges are for the same purpose. Even when one cries in the darkness, “Thy will be done,” they are crying to the light within to transform their reality which they have created.

Sometimes we need to take that which is within and set it outside of ourselves for us to observe it.

Your attitude towards the most insignificant action is your attitude towards your very existence.

Whenever you have an emotional response to a situation, you open yourself up to participate.

When you cast judgment, you then have to live it.

If you are unwilling to receive, you are unable to give. If you are unable to give, you are unwilling to receive.

Humanity is facing its greatest challenges. Humanity can no longer escape its creation.

Remember, if it does not empower you, it cannot empower them.

Would you do that, whatever it may be, for your highest good and to pursue the path of your soul?

Would you be willing to be unattached in order to experience all things?

Your focus defines that which you perceive.

Nothing on heaven or earth can dissuade you from the path of your soul, even death itself cannot hinder that which is eternal.

The only obstacles in your path are those you place there intentionally and purposefully.

Every positive step forward opens a conduit for others to follow.

No one can imprison you but yourself. And you can be in prison without bars.

You do not have to be big enough, strong enough or smart enough. Just be conscious enough.

Opportunities are not causal; they are signposts to guide you to what already exists.

All that is negative infringes upon the boundaries of one’s consciousness.

Be kind to yourself but not complacent. Vigilant but not fearful. When you walk in the path of integrity, you do not have anything to fear.

Remember cause and effect is seeking resolution. Consciousness is always seeking a return to the oneness.

As soon as the meaning of your life is determined by any external force, you then become dependent on it.

What we speak of is deeper than the normal codependency. The meaning of your life is evaluated by so many outside circumstances. Have you not been aware at times how meaningless your life has felt? And the reason for the meaninglessness is because the external forces, circumstances and situations that you depended on were are not present. If you were never to reach your goals, would the meaning of your life differ than if you were successful in all your endeavors? The answer to this quandary lies in understanding the internal processes that define the meaning of your existence.

The purpose of your life is the external expression of the meaning of your life.

It is very subtle. If your meaning is based upon external constructs that do not exist, you feel your life is meaningless, and your purpose expresses that meaninglessness. Your purpose which is born of your meaning is limited or weakened. When one drudges through another day, seeking to survive until sunset in order to hide in that sister of death, sleep, one loses the value and the meaning of one’s existence. And one drudges through life, day after day, because they are devoid of understanding the meaning of their life and feel void because of outward circumstances.

The key, as you are well aware, is when you understand why you exist and the meaning for you to exist, then those external aspects reflect it and your purpose manifests it. If today you do not bring in a dollar, if today you do nothing outwardly, what is the meaning of your life? The error in human thinking, since humanity tends to objectify and look for results, seeks first for their purpose, the outward action, before they see the meaning, which is the parent.

When today holds none of those external constructs on which you would wish to depend, what is the meaning of your life? That is the key of this process and it is also the key to your freedom.

What is the meaning of your life? If you had lived but an hour, if you were born deaf and mute, if you never spoke to another person, if you lived a hundred years, if you moved the world to God, if you sought to drag it away, if you were a peace-maker, a warrior, the Christ, Hitler, your meaning would be the same. It saddens us when an individual throws away the eternal moments and nows of existence when the external concepts are not present that bolster them up. The meaning of one’s existence has nothing to do with the external human constructs–nothing. It is the unique, individual expression of your soul expressing its choices. The soul’s path is built upon those choices. When one will seek to understand the internal meaning of their existence, their lives, their moments become miraculous. Otherwise, it is drudgery as if journeying across a desert parched by the lack of truth, seared by the anger of emotions in hopes that the illusive mirage ahead might hold the promise one seeks.

If there wasn’t meaning to your life today, your soul would have chosen to journey elsewhere. What is the meaning of your life today?

The meaning of your life is not in what you do, your meaning is what propels and gives all those other things the strength and vitality to fulfill the purpose of the soul.

It is that meaning that propels out from you and richly blesses all other expressions of your life. Meaning is unchangeable as individuals spend a lifetime searching for the meaning of their life. They have no more or less of it than a child whose heart has beat just once before it died. When you understand that meaning, it does not matter what you do, but who you are. You understand the meaning of your life. Every action, every event is an expression of your divine purpose.

Look at how much of Jesus’ life seemed to be a dismal failure, but the meaning is the key. He wished to awaken the world.

We want you to be happy. We desire you to be happy today because you understand the meaning of your life. Let all the good things you do and all the good things that will come your way be an expression of the meaning of your life, not the source of it. This moment is just as meaningful as any other. Your purpose emerges from the meaning, from the intent of your life and when you have clear meaning it becomes the foundation, the rock of your life’s purpose. The message of Jesus is that no matter what the world did, he fulfilled his meaning.

When you perceive your meaning, your purpose will reach its goal.

You must value your life and its meaning no matter what is going on out there. What occurs when one loses the meaning of one’s life and focuses on the purpose, they begin to perceive themselves as successes or failures. Be happy today that the moments are precious and important. Let it be your soul’s choices, unending fountain that fills your thoughts, words and actions, your heart, soul, mind and body with all God’s good gifts.

It is our earnest desire that today be the happiest day of your life. Just as it is, through understanding the meaning of your life, the expressive consciousness of God.

Your infinite mind and eternal existence are aspects of your soul, but do not assume that they do not express in physical form. These transcendent elements of your being are available for your use. Though human awareness can only comprehend finite elements of them, it does not hinder their assimilation into your reality to the degree that you are willing to accept them. Understanding is not the operative element to utilize these attributes: it is acceptance that they are an aspect of your being.

The exploration of these divine traits within your human experience will open understanding and insight into them. You might ask if their influence on your life is in proportion to your understanding.  No?  But it is to the degree of your acceptance and acknowledgment of them as elements of yourself. This attitude gives permission for your true identity to gain active access to your life. The pursuit of understanding of spiritual matters may be the journey, but acceptance is the core of the spiritual experience. Many would understand this as faith.

Understanding and acceptance create a well-rounded, spiritual pursuit. You do not have to wait to understand in order to experience. Acceptance, i.e. faith, opens the willing spirit to a myriad of growth experiences for enlightenment. Learning is a tool to give understanding to something you already accept as true. Let acceptance of your greater self open the door to access into your world, and the pursuit of understanding turns the light on in your consciousness to utilize them effectively.

Be patient in the process, consistent in your pursuit and open in your attitude—and all will be made known and experienced.

When humanity unites for a common purpose, be it for the better or worse of the collective whole, one plus one is greater than two. There is, indeed a longing, a deep inner desire for that connection with another. It is in that connection that there is support, guidance and teaching.

The individual expands their own self-identify, ironically, when they have a deep awareness and participation in community. Think about those with whom you interact. Those that support you. Those that nurture you. Those that challenge you. Perhaps those who are a catalyst to move you to expand beyond the horizons of your desires.

When one is sad, they often wish to speak to another. When one is happy, one wishes to share it with another. All the positive attributes of humanity are expanded when individuals come together in true community with the sole purpose of the highest good of all involved. It is a reuniting with the consciousness of the whole, and expansion of the depth and breadth of who you are. It is the expression of the love of All That Is. It is the vehicle of assistance that all in the universe are called to do, to participate in.

You are teacher and student to each other.

You are the guide and the one who follows for all of the universe exists for the purpose of assistance to itself. The creator and the creation, one in union, inseparable, united in the common purpose of well-being.

Each of you who read this can relate to what we have just spoken. Those friends and relatives to whom your life is more enriched and fulfilled because they exist in your reality. All that we have just said is to set the framework for the concept we wish to share.

If there were those in your family who loved and supported you, nurtured and guided you, you would not ignore them, you would wish to be with them, you would wish to communicate with them, you would wish to thank them. Humanity and the individuals that compose humanity often fail to recognize the community that loves them and assists them, nurtures them and guides them from the realms. So often that which is not vividly heard or seen is forgotten and ignored.

But one lives half a life when one does not commune, connect and interact with those who are their guides and teachers beyond the physical realm of existence.

One might say how do we interact with these unseen forces? How do we know how to find them and how do we know when they are talking to us? The reality is a good teacher. A good guide will always speak to you in the language you understand. Do not look for apparitions, though apparitions are possible–even probable. Do not expect a booming voice from the clouds–although that, too, shall come to pass.

How do you know someone loves you? How do you know someone cares? It is an innate, inner knowingness?

If you would just allow yourselves to listen, to look, you would feel our presence. Your guides stand by your side.

The entirety of the realms are in assistance to you. There are those assigned to you. You do not allow your children to take a field trip without chaperones. Why would we, the parents of your consciousness, send you off without those to assist and protect you?

We began this concept with the sole purpose of beginning to open your eyes, your ears and your mind to the presence of those who have come to assist you. Whoever you perceive your guides to be — be it a guardian angel, a departed loved one, a spiritual prophet — ask, talk to them, talk to them as you would a dear friend. One who will never fail you. One who has infinite perception and perspective. If you call upon your guides or your guardians, they will answer. Don’t stand alone, there’s no reason to.

And we have spoken all this for you to call upon the greatest force and source that the universe has ever known which is yourself. Call upon your soul. It is an error in thinking to believe that your soul is vulnerable to your self-inflicted insults and errors. Your soul cannot be a victim. Misdeeds and actions out of alignment with the consciousness of the oneness of All That Is can affect conscious awareness, but the soul is the soul. It is your greatest ally. Religions for purposes of control and fear have made the soul a whipping boy to keep you in line, inflicting you with the fear of eternal damnation.

The soul is the soul, and the soul is God, the spark of divine intelligence that expresses as you.

You do not need to save your soul, rather call upon your soul. Name your soul, listen, you will know its name for there is no name like it in the universe, born of the primordial energies of creation expressing as God in this plane of existence. You are not alone. Call upon your soul; your soul exists as the fertile ground for the development of your individual consciousness. Your soul is the protector of your consciousness. Your soul cannot be diminished, it is all powerful in your life. Call it forth into your reality, make your soul the predominant expression of your
existence.

So, dear friends, dear children of the light, we share this in hopes of comforting you and reminding you that there is a community of those who are personally involved in your lives that are there to care for you, to love you, to nurture you.

Look for them and you will see them.
Listen for them and you will hear them.
Speak to them and they will answer.
Ask and you shall receive.

For you are not orphans but members of a family that will never forsake you, never abandon you. For the universe is holographic in its existence and you will find not only those who are your brethren but you, yourself, in assistance. For you are The One Mind and The One Thought, and you have come to take you home.

Call upon your soul to emanate forth in all aspects of your life that you are in dominion and authority in all things. Project the dominion of your soul into those aspects of your life where you are, for where you are is the greatest facilitator on the path of the soul. When you call forth your soul, your soul has power to assist you. Those powers consciously and unconsciously work within your life.

Your soul is your emissary into physicality.

Do not depend on the ego consciousness to provide your needs for that is like trying to crawl across a room using your fingers. When you call upon your soul, you stand upright and walk with intent and purpose through the pathways of your life. The ego consciousness does not work any longer. For you are moving into a realm where one’s identity must be grounded in the spiritual awareness, from there you will ride out the storms of change upon this planet.

When you call forth your soul you empower every aspect of your life.

Every aspect is transformed, for as we have spoken, the soul is the soul and the soul is God–and it is not vulnerable to the whims of ego consciousness. This time is the era of the soul. There are many analogies of the awakening of humanity, the butterfly from the cocoon, the resurrection. But what is it the resurrection of? Your brother, Jesus, was able to transform his physical form because his identification was his soul. Your physical form should be in service to your spiritual self. You are a soul in physical form and that awareness transforms whatever you are doing. That awareness will bring joy to your life, efficiency to your work, prosperity to your pocket.

This is the challenge for humanity, to re-identify itself with the inner spark, the inner awareness, and to become enlightened into the mind of God.

For, it is your soul that transforms your reality. It is your soul that spans the chasm of time and space. All you need do is call it forth. Do you not think that if you called your soul into your physical existence it would not come? Your soul, your higher self and we are not too fond of that particular phrase for it is misconstrued as some third party observer. Your soul does not need to throw you a lifeline for your soul is your life line–it is your “salvation.” Nothing, be it financial, emotional, health or relationship, is excluded from the realm of the power of the soul.

This planet, your universe and your lives are in an evolutionary process into a new dimension; so, wouldn’t it make sense that your perception of yourself would change?

If you are willing to make that identification with your soul, your physical world will come into a graceful alignment with your dreams. If you wish to cling to the old physical constructs, they will crumble like dry and brittle clay in your hands.

The wonderful thing is that all you need to do is to be willing to see yourself from another set of eyes.

That is not as difficult as you think; for, you have many perceptions of yourself, mother, father, brother, sister, husband, wife, employee or boss. Add to that perception your soul which has dominion over all other aspects of yourself.

In your soul you will find comfort. In your soul you will find security. In your soul you will be able to weather the winds of change. Your soul has not changed or been altered from the moment of creation, only added to itself as you accumulated knowledge of lives’ experiences. United in the consciousness of your soul. You are one with All That Is and all is well in your world.

We realize for many reading these words the idea of a soul path or a soul task is a foreign concept. Probably the best place to start is to state that the existence of a path and task of the soul supercede any religious constructs or belief systems. They are attributes of the soul and inseparable from it. They are the intentional interaction of the soul in existence and the sole purpose for its individual expression. The path and the task of the soul transcend physical existence. They are an eternal construct that is interactive and dynamic in all dimensions of existence. The task and path of the soul is the soul’s gift back to the source of its existence. They are chosen by the soul and are imprinted in all of its expressions.

How then do these two dynamic aspects of your soul translate into physical form?

First, a definition in human terms of the task and path of the soul: the task of the soul is what you bring to the world to assist; the path of the soul is what you have chosen to experience for learning.

Each individual has a soul task that is unique, and they bring a divine gift to the world in their own way. No one else can do it for you or like you. If you don’t do it, it does not get done. Though the task of the soul is the same in all lifetimes, your unique experiences, skills and personality offer a different expression of it each time you live.

How do you determine your task?

Some examples may be helpful: teacher, catalyst, healer, tiller, prophet, protector, guide and peacemaker are but a few. And yes, these are general categories in which many individuals’ tasks may fall. But a reminder, your task is yours and is unique to you.

As mentioned, the task of the soul is imprinted upon it. Therefore, it must be an innate part of you. If you have chosen a task, you will be given the abilities to perform it. You will have an inner longing to do something, a natural talent for it and when you experience doing it in your life it gives you joy. Doing the activity makes your heart dance and your soul sing. Its accomplishment fills you. You would wish to do it all the time. You become complete.

At this point, the task of your soul may be evident. If not, give yourself permission to experience it. It will make itself known. Do not confuse career with task; yet, when they coincide it is wondrous.

Do not try to separate yourself from life to perform it. The task is part of it and is not dependent on individual life circumstances to be accomplished.

Most important of all, soul tasks are equal, be you teaching ten or ten thousand or healing the sick or kissing your child’s cut “to make it better.” Status and station are meaningless in relationship to the task of the soul.

How you choose to accomplish your task is up to you, but be assured you will have the time, talent and tools to fulfill it. When one seeks to fulfill their task, life falls into alignment and the way is made clear; for, there is no force in existence that can stand in the way of one committed to the task of their soul.

What of the path of the soul?

We have indicated that the soul expresses to serve creation by its task but it also comes to learn–and that is its path. Now that is not predestination but choice on a soul level, and like the task of the soul, how you choose to experience it is a personal choice. It is worth noting that though learning is mandatory, pain is optional. So perhaps if life is difficult, you may want to explore what opportunities for learning are being presented and are you taking advantage of the situation to learn?

The path of the soul can include many things, but when facing challenges in your life, seek the inner purpose and discover the transformative power within you to master it. Like the task of the soul, you will be given everything you need to walk your path confidently, courageously and with grace.

The task and the path of the soul are intrinsic aspects of your physical existence.

Your understanding, acceptance and participation in them will transform your life into a journey of understanding, an existence of peace and an expression of love.

Yet, let us look at how humanity views playing games. Games are generally seen as optional activities with no ultimate intrinsic value, often a fantasy reality offering no lasting value to the human experience. That is a pretty heavy judgment of games to contend with. Simply stated, games are not a necessary component for life; yet, we hold to our statement that life is a game.

So, what do games offer that is positive? They provide recreation and an opportunity to develop skills and abilities. They provide enjoyment and yes, hopefully, healthy competition and, in some cases, team work. Winning is, of course, a nice side benefit. Can we squeeze the concept of life into this narrow box, no pun intended?

Let’s look at it this way. Is life a game the soul plays?

“What?!” you may shout, “Life is too hard, too serious, too important, too valuable to be a flippant activity of the soul!” Perhaps we can help your screaming ego consciousness by saying this discussion is not about the value of life; for, we honor the immensity of the human experience and the sacredness of its existence.

We have indicated that games are for recreation and enjoyment, though you may feel yourself up to your eyeballs in alligators–you became physical to have fun. Have you been having fun?

When you encounter a challenge in a game, do you curse it or is the challenge the essence of the game? Be it a board game or a sports activity, the presence of the challenge is actually the catalyst to participate and the source of your enjoyment. We are sure you would agree you would quickly lose interest in a game that presented no challenge.

You like a good challenge, and so does your soul.

So why then does humanity become bogged down in the challenges which were initially the reason for playing in the first place? Now, we will admit that games lose their enjoyment if the player either feels they neither have the skills nor the ability to win and, perhaps worse, don’t know the rules of the game or how it is won. These are the pitfalls humanity experiences that steal the fun from playing in the game of life.

If you want to play, let’s say a sport, how do you develop your skills and abilities. Yes, as in any endeavor—practice plus trial and error. Perhaps it is necessary at this time to allay your fears by stating that the game of life is won simply by participating. To play is to win even if you feel at times that you have lost.

As you experience the game of life, the more you learn the more skilled you become.

The more skilled you become the more you are able to participate; the more you participate the more enjoyment you experience which is the purpose for playing.

The game of life is played by the soul, and perhaps, the most important thing about the game of life you should know is that you are not the playing piece on the board but the hand and, therefore, the mind that moves it.

Breathe deeply into your center, breathe into the core of your being and enkindle the fire of your soul.

Feel the fire within the solar plexus igniting your soul, invigorating your existence. Breathe in deeply allowing spirit to blow upon the coals of your soul and experience consciousness entering from the crown of your head to join with this light. Feel that radiant glow and presence within you, become encompassed in it, surrounded in it and radiating forth to your world.

Find your center place of peace. Draw from that strength, that light; for, it is the true source of being and the only point of existence in this dimension that is truly eternal, infinite and real. It is there that you merge with the physical plane of existence. It is from there that you ascend to the realms.

Go to that place and breathe in that light, allow it to shine out from you and you will see yourself in a new world.

This point of being, this point of power is as real and as evident and as important to your existence as the air that you breathe, the heart that beats in your chest in the coming of the age of consciousness. The new age of consciousness comes not from the mind but from the soul. It is your being. It is the center point of your immortal existence and presence in consciousness that will enlighten your world.

There has been spoken of an eternal dawn that rises in the eastern horizon. Dear ones, that dawn is the rising of your soul from the horizon of your conscious illuminating your world and existence.

If the consciousness of your soul is going to rise above the horizon of your awareness and enlighten your world, you are going to see more, you are going to understand more, and you are going to be able to traverse more easily the world in which you live. Imagine if all you knew was night, and you learned to maneuver through it and you had an image of what your world looked like. And then one morning a glow appears in the eastern sky, and bit by bit your world emerges.

You are drawing into your being that light that gives you a new perspective. You see and will see your world in the light of your soul—that is what the changing of the age is about.

Could it be that both realities are the same, indistinguishable from each other? The truth is that it is not what road you take but how you travel it. It is simply a choice.

You have chosen to walk this journey called life; so, why not choose the more adventurous, scenic and interesting path?

Be willing to step aside from the random and routine, the commonplace and accepted. Step forward in your own unique expression of who you are.

Do not pre-judge the spiritual path as either difficult or precarious. You may encounter obstacles along the way, but that is no different than any road you take. Perhaps that fork in the road had two road signs: the more traveled road, an arrow pointing to ordinary and mediocre; the other, the road less traveled, pointing to your unique destiny and self-awareness.

Commonplace can seem easy, in reality it is a hard task master. All life, no matter what path you choose, has challenges.

Why not choose challenges that mean something so that at the end of the journey you are more than what you began, rather than simply being what you already are.

That is the meaning of the road less traveled.
