Legends are not always what they are thought to be. They are not fantasies; for, they are born from a seed of truth. Though often historically unsubstantiated they are recorded with the same validity as identifiable historical events.

Legends are the incarnation of consciousness created by those of the realms who perceive it to be more advantageous to be an influence upon, rather than a player in the human experience. Their consciousness inspires cultures and creates a certain commonality of human experience. The legend becomes real; the consciousness that inspired it definitely is.

When the non-incarnate consciousnesses merges with the human psyche, the information, the knowledge and the insight become theirs. You become inseparable from the consciousness that speaks to you. It is an infusion and a joining of your mind with their mind. If the objects of the legend never actually existed and resided only in the minds of humanity, would it make them any less real? The objects of legends are the definition of a greater consciousness waiting to be expressed. They are real because of their birth in consciousness; they are real because of the collective consciousness that holds them dear.

That is the meaning and the message of the legend.

Life is but a Play

One of the more famous playwrights spoke of life as a play in which the actor appears for a brief time upon the stage, acting out their part and playing their role in the story.

Life is not quite that simple or bleak; yet, this analogy can be used to assist you to understand that your physical existence is a purposeful and intentional character in the play of creation.
The playwright, the consciousness of All That Is, scripted humanity’s role; yet, you can choose to interpret it as a drama, a comedy, a tragedy, an allegory or a farce.
Your intentional existence does not mean you do not have choice, and you are not predestined to act out a certain role. Rather, you are placed upon the stage of life to create your own story and participate in the stories of others.
To continue the analogy, if life is but a play and you are an actor in it, who is the audience?
You might think it to be others in your life or perhaps God. Truth is you are your own observer. A play is written for entertainment, learning, perhaps an exposé on a provocative topic, or simply a slice of life. Whatever the […]

The Game Board

The present moment, the eternal now, is the only place that you can reside—even consciousness and the creator itself has never expressed other than in the now. With that in mind–though you may need to plan for the future and you seek understanding and resolution of the past–focus all of your resolution and all of your power upon the present. The handiwork of spirit, the carpentry of creation and the architect of your mind can only occur in this present state.

We understand that you live in a temporal world, and to maneuver within it, time must be of a consideration. Let us offer this clarification—that creation can only occur within the present moment.

The same is true spatially, that you have only existed here. You have never existed there, and everything that is needed for your moment of creation is present in the here and the now–the cross hairs of consciousness and the expression of your existence. That is the point of your observation; it is the place of your power and the expression of your existence. Place all intention and focus here and now. Be observant for the tools available and the instructions needed to create your desired reality.

You […]

The Master’s Touch

The following excerpt is Chapter 9 from Mastery, The Method and The Meaning.

You have mastered the physical plane of existence when your conscious thoughts and spiritual being unite, and as a result, your life expresses the creative consciousness of creation. As a result, your actions, words and thoughts reflect that union.

As a master, you experience the physical plane of existence in a new way; for, when you are united to the consciousness of creation you see all that you encounter, be it the grass beneath your feet, the animal you consume or the individual that you interact with, as an expression and participant in that consciousness.

Though in dominion in your life, you are never in dominance. You neither seek to control nor can you be controlled; for, you alone are the master of your own destiny. You honor all things and judge nothing that you observe. You only see God in all things because you have experienced God in you.

The master merges into oneness and sees the self as inseparable from the physical world. The master’s touch, or presence, is that of the creator itself; for, the master becomes the incarnation of the consciousness of creation. The master experiences creation […]

The Frontier of a New Reality

In the conscious collection of existence, there is an emergence of realities being created by the consciousness of those who hold the thoughts. The proverbial veil—that invisible barrier that has seemed to separate and imprison humanity from experiencing full conscious awareness and spiritual truth—is very thin and is collapsing in the light of a new consciousness.

Your thoughts, actions and emotions pervade across this invisible boundary, and your physical existence sends out reconnaissance parties into the frontiers of a new reality. This invisible barrier, created by human forgetfulness, is now breached, and the inevitable is about to occur as the truth of the expression of your true existence pours forth into this present reality. As a result, realities collide, consciousnesses are in opposition and the chaotic nature of creation emerges to separate the wheat from the chaff. This is experienced in your government, religious and financial structures—even your own lives reflect the turmoil and chaos created from this convergence of realities.

For those of you who are open and willing to accept this evolutionary process, there will be less chaos and confusion in your lives. By not viewing this new existence as being in conflict with your present reality, you can emerge […]

The Straight and Narrow

More than one religious philosophy states that the path of attainment and spiritual growth is straight and narrow. The implication is that the pathway to enlightenment is arduous and precarious. Yet in reality, spiritual growth and enlightenment are attained not by the attributes of the path taken but by the degree of focus, diligence and discipline while traveling that path.
We would like to suggest that the pathway to enlightenment can be wide and multi-directional.
Spiritual growth is never a direct path. No one, including the masters, walked a straight line to enlightenment. It is a journey with many twists and turns. Your focus, diligence and discipline are the compass headings that provide you the direction to navigate toward your spiritual destination. The truth of the spiritual journey can be better described by the statement that “God draws straight with crooked lines.”
The spiritual path demands focus but not narrow-mindedness.
It asks for diligence but not alienation from the world in which you live.
It speaks of discipline but is not a litany of rules and regulations.
The pathway to paradise is like a meandering stream through a green, lush valley of opportunity and experience. This flexibility and freedom leads to ease and grace […]

The Methods and the Means of Mastery

The following is an excerpt from Mastery, The Method and The Meaning.

In this mini-book, we will explore the promise of and the pathway to mastery. Throughout history and across theological, philosophical and intellectual disciplines, the concept of mastering the physical plane of existence remains firm. Spiritual attainment is sought after and enlightenment is desired no matter one’s beliefs.

Each and every religious philosophy holds in adoration and reverence those that they believe attained the spiritual truths which they believed. Mastery, indeed, has been expressed throughout history in various individuals who have obtained that degree of physical beingness and spiritual enlightenment. Yet, they are not the sole heirs to divinity.

A promise and pledge are offered to those who read these words that they are like the master whose footsteps they seek to follow. Certainly those masters whose lives speak to you are to be emulated and honored; yet, in that appreciation do not lose insight that what emerged within them exists in you. They, like you, are just fellow journeyers on the pathway of spiritual attainment.

To fully understand the concept of mastery, it will be necessary to explore the multi-dimensional, holographic expression of your existence. Mastery is not just a state of […]

A Case of Mistaken Identity

Throughout human history, there have been the avatars, mystics and spiritual teachers to enlighten humanity. These teachers have been seen as masters, way-showers and individuals who had attained enlightenment. Their message was clear; their teaching unfaltering in their perception of the human experience and the truth of the identity of those whom they taught. Yet, across the board, almost without fail, the student saw the teacher as the focus of their enlightenment, deifying them, worshipping them and surrendering to them. This is a case of mistaken identity.
A master’s intent is be a mirror in which to see yourself.
The master’s finger does not point to themselves—but to you.
Any manifestation of the divine is your self-reflection. The master is but the mirror for you to see yourself as the Dalai Lama indicated to the guard as the border during his escape. When asked if he was the Lord Buddha, he answered, “I believe I am like the moon shining upon the waters. I am just the man trying to do good, and when you see me, you see yourself.”
The spiritual teacher holds before you the promise of who you are.
Their attainment is your insurance that spiritual enlightenment is accessible.
Therefore, all the […]

Infinite Expansion of Consciousness

In the infinite expansion of consciousness, the spiritual pilgrim becomes increasingly aware that the path to enlightenment is not a destination or a goal to be obtained but an evolutionary process to participate in. Nothing in the universe is static, not even consciousness itself. All is dynamic and ever-evolving and changing.
Creation is the celebration of consciousness exploring itself—and so it is with your journey of spiritual awakening and awareness.
The wonderment is that neither you nor consciousness is finite, and the possibilities and the potential for expression of your existence is beyond measure. In the process of spiritual growth and development, the truths of today may be the memories of tomorrow; yet, each and every discovery that you make on the path to enlightenment is an important step on the spiral stairs to the consciousness of All That Is.

To become locked or invested in a certain belief or dogma would be similar to stopping half the way up a staircase and declaring that you have arrived at the next floor. Spiritual truth is enhanced by openness and acceptance and the willingness to adapt and change, not in rigid structure and belief. The dynamic nature of existence and the dynamic nature […]

Dawn of the Soul

Dawn of the Soul, Visualization Exercise

Breathe deeply into your center, breathe into the core of your being and enkindle the fire of your soul.

Feel the fire within the solar plexus igniting your soul, invigorating your existence. Breathe in deeply allowing spirit to blow upon the coals of your soul and experience consciousness entering from the crown of your head to join with this light. Feel that radiant glow and presence within you, become encompassed in it, surrounded in it and radiating forth to your world.

Find your center place of peace. Draw from that strength, that light; for, it is the true source of being and the only point of existence in this dimension that is truly eternal, infinite and real. It is there that you merge with the physical plane of existence. It is from there that you ascend to the realms.

Go to that place and breathe in that light, allow it to shine out from you and you will see yourself in a new world.

This point of being, this point of power is as real and as evident and as important to your existence as the air that you breathe, the heart that beats in your […]

Career and The Path of Your Soul

Most of humanity chooses a career to create an income and utilize their skills and abilities in a useful and beneficial way. The path of the soul is often misinterpreted as one’s career; yet, the two are not necessarily separate. The optimum hope is that one’s career is intertwined with the path of the soul. When an individual chooses to intentionally dedicate their activities to their path, one’s career promotes that purpose. The commonality between one’s career and the path of their soul is the aptitudes which is shared by both one’s career choices and the path of the soul.

Participation in the path of the soul is a powerful expression of one’s willingness to both dwell in and be of assistance to the world in which they live. An error often made is the belief that the path of the soul must be some profound journey or have some noticeable universal impact upon humankind. Yes, there are those, like the face of the clock, whose actions are visible to many; yet, if it was not for all the intricate, minute parts that perform their task hidden beneath the surface what you can see of the clock would be useless.

Therefore, […]

The Imperative and Importance of Your Presence

Your existence, be it as a spiritual being or as a physical life form upon this planet, is neither arbitrary nor accidental. Your existence has been called forth by divine command, and it is important that you are here and imperative that you are present for the universe to be total and complete.

Your physical expression, your divine nature is a piece of the puzzle that reveals the identity of the creator. There is no excess or frivolity in creation; everything that exists is a necessary part of the whole. Everything and everyone has meaning and measure in the grand scale of events unfolding in your universe.

Love has been defined in many ways. We would like to suggest another:
Love is the ultimate acceptance of the value, uniqueness and importance of every living thing, which in essence includes all of creation.
This definition enhances the concept of God as love; for, the ultimate self-acceptance is the realization of your own importance, uniqueness and value separate from any other influences or factors.

The negative ego consciousness will quickly grab a hold of this concept to cause you to deny that truth which is yours. The negative ego consciousness will declare you selfish, egotistical, self-righteous […]

The Parable of Paradise

The following is an excerpt from The Seven Gifts of Consciousness, The Bounty of the Universe.

We have spoken of the creation of paradise by the power of thought. The fruit of the garden you seek is found in the gifts of conscious creation. The cosmic gifts given to the physical plane of existence are the fertile grounds upon which the garden is built.

The purpose of these gifts is the means by which to create a physical expression of the consciousness in which you reside. For when you express these gifts, you bring into your existence the consciousness that created them.

Of all the possibilities, of all the thoughts contained in an infinite mind, these gifts were chosen by the consciousness in which you reside that they would be the frankincense, myrrh and gold given to the child born with promise for this planet.  Use them wisely, give them freely; for, they are an infinite and eternal gift given to you.

I choose to express the cosmic gifts of consciousness by using them wisely and giving them freely to myself, my world and my creator.

— Revisit the activity in Chapter Nine and create your garden by planting the seeds of wonderment, ease, balance, wisdom, growth, […]

The Physical Expression of Consciousness

The following is an excerpt from The Seven Gifts of Consciousness, The Bounty of the Universe.

We have discussed throughout this mini-book the seven gifts of consciousness given to the physical plane of existence. Your physical being is a perfect expression to receive, identify and utilize these gifts, just as the earth upon which you stand and the fruit of the tree which you eat express these gifts—so does your physical being.

Not only are you a receiver and a participator of these gifts, you are an expression of them. The consciousness which resides within your physical being, your physical body, the chalice the holds an infinite expression of consciousness brings these gifts alive. Celebrate them. Utilize them. And freely give them; for, they are yours to receive and yours to give. Your physical being is the vehicle of consciousness to express these gifts to creation.

Even if humanity did not inhabit this planet or, indeed, the entirety of the universe, these gifts would be present—but you express these gifts in consciousness. The instinctual nature of physicality is transformed into conscious awareness by your expression of existence. These natural elemental behaviors of physical expression are multiplied through you. Graciously accept them. Graciously […]

Sensing Consciousness

The following is an excerpt from The Seven Gifts of Consciousness, The Bounty of the Universe.

Just as there are energetic levels of consciousness—concentric circles infinitely expanding into the reaches of awareness and existence—there are counterparts in your physical existence that allow you to experience consciousness. Your physical senses allow you to maneuver and perceive your third dimensional existence. Sensing consciousness is the ability to perceive and interact with the spiritual realm in which you simultaneously dwell.

Spirit has often been referred to as breath or air which is unseen yet vital for life. It has a profound effect on your physical existence but is often forgotten in your daily activities. The same is true with the spiritual elements of your existence–necessary yet unseen and often forgotten. Sensing cosmic consciousness is your intrinsic ability to identify, experience and utilize that physically invisible force that so profoundly impacts your life.

The physical plane of existence and the spiritual realms are not like oil and water, rather their merging is an emulsion, a combination, an integration of these two vital aspects of existence—the creator and the creation—into a new form. It is impossible to separate or extract one from the other. The elements of consciousness […]
