Creative Consciousness

To use the term “creative consciousness” is almost redundant; for, to be creative one must be conscious—and to be conscious one is creative.

Consciousness is a dynamic state, never at rest. Yes, stilling the mind allows you to hear that consciousness more clearly, but the mind is not consciousness nor the domain of it. Physical thought is not the source of consciousness but a vehicle to channel its creative force.

Consciousness swirls within your being waiting to be expressed. Though always in movement, it never tires, constantly creating yet never depleted; it awaits your command.

How do you harness this dynamo of creativity? Can it be controlled or directed if unleashed? Be assured that you will not release a beast that will devour you; for this dynamic force within you does not need to be tamed but rather trained by your thoughts to express creatively in your life. Creative consciousness is pure […]

Release vs Relinquishment

You may question if there is a difference between releasing or relinquishing something. These two terms define appropriate or inappropriate, effective or ineffective, ways of letting go of an object, person or place.

Release and relinquishment go together:
Release is an outward action; relinquishment is an inner attitude.
How do you know if you have released or relinquished something? If you maintain an emotional investment in what you have let go of, then you have not relinquished it. To truly let go of something, someone or someplace, you must both externally and internally let it go.

Perhaps an example is appropriate: Let us say that you give a friend a sentimental or valuable piece of jewelry, perhaps your mother’s necklace or your father’s watch. And by chance, you are informed that they have pawned it. If you have an emotional response to the action—you have not relinquished the item. You many have released […]

One Race, Many Colors

Prejudice is a cancer that eats at the very core of self-awareness and identity.
Prejudice is the child of the concept of separation and the energy of the negative ego consciousness. It is condemnation and degradation of another because they are seen as different.

The more one separates themselves from another, the greater the isolation and self-condemnation becomes. How bland a world if every flower looked the same, the same fragrance, the same number of petals and the same hue. How bland the world would be if in each species there was only one family. Your physical plane of existence is a celebration of differentiation working in unison for the common good of all.
Humanity’s judgement, condemnation, and ostracism is a stain on the fabric of creation.
To deny another their right to exist condemns yourself to non-existence. Prejudice is insidious and spreads like cancer throughout the human consciousness. Prejudice and its condemnation […]

Career and The Path of Your Soul

The path of the soul is often misinterpreted as one’s career; yet, the two are not necessarily separate. The optimum hope is that one’s career is intertwined with the path of the soul. When an individual chooses to intentionally dedicate their activities to their path, one’s career promotes that purpose. The commonality between one’s career and the path of their soul is the aptitudes which is shared by both one’s career choices and the path of the soul.

Participation in the path of the soul is a powerful expression of one’s willingness to both dwell in and be of assistance to the world in which they live. An error often made is the belief that the path of the soul must be some profound journey or have some […]
