The Physical Expression of Consciousness

The following is an excerpt from The Seven Gifts of Consciousness, The Bounty of the Universe.

We have discussed throughout this mini-book the seven gifts of consciousness given to the physical plane of existence. Your physical being is a perfect expression to receive, identify and utilize these gifts, just as the earth upon which you stand and the fruit of the tree which you eat express these gifts—so does your physical being.

Not only are you a receiver and a participator of these gifts, you are an expression of them. The consciousness which resides within your physical being, your physical body, the chalice the holds an infinite expression of consciousness brings these gifts alive. Celebrate them. Utilize them. And freely give them; for, they are yours to receive and yours to give. Your physical being is the vehicle of consciousness to express these gifts to creation.

Even if humanity did not inhabit this planet or, indeed, the entirety of the universe, these gifts would be present—but you express these gifts in consciousness. The instinctual nature of physicality is transformed into conscious awareness by your expression of existence. These natural elemental behaviors of physical expression are multiplied through you. Graciously accept them. Graciously use them. Graciously express them and graciously give them to all whom you encounter–be it the grass upon which you walk, the fruit that fills your table, the animal that lays down its life for your sustenance or the person standing alongside you.

An integral part of creating community and oneness is the generous expression of these gifts to all whom you encounter, be they inanimate aspects of physicality, living plants or animals or sentient beings.  If the creator was gracious enough to give these gifts to you, as its ambassador to its creation, give the gifts just as graciously.

Affirmation
I am a receiver and a participator of in the cosmic gifts of conscious
for my highest good and the highest good of all I encounter.

Activity
The activity outlined in this concept is an opportunity for a lifelong experience.
The consciousness which resides within your physical being, your physical body, the chalice that holds an infinite expression of consciousness brings these gifts alive. Celebrate them. Utilize them. And freely give them; for, they are yours to receive and yours to give.

Celebrate them – create a ritual to acknowledge, accept and give thanks for these gifts.
Utilize them – create spiritual practices that integrate the gifts into your life.
Freely give – endeavor to create a life that generously shares these gifts.
Become part of the plan.
Graciously accept them. Graciously use them. Graciously express them and graciously give them to all whom you encounter.

Exercises
An integral part of creating community and oneness is the generous expression of these gifts to all whom you encounter. If the creator was gracious enough to give these gifts to you, as ambassador to creation, give the gifts just as graciously.
Think of yourself as an expression of the seven cosmic gifts of consciousness (wonderment, ease, balance, wisdom, growth, assistance and awareness) and a benefactor of them. Write a statement for each gift. Describe how you can express them in your life and share them with all who you encounter.
